We are a neutral third party that protects homeowners and contractors during any and all renovation projects. Instead of chasing customers for payments, you as a contractor will get paid for the work you complete. This way, you never risk having to fight for the money you've worked for and you know your business is secure.
Though our main focus is to protect your money during a renovation project, we also provide a variety of tools that will help you to better manage your project with your customer. Keep track of important documents, track project progress and manage your payments right from your smart phone, tablet or desktop computer.
How Does It Work?
Either the homeowner or contractor creates a project and invites the other party.
The homeowner funds the project.
The contractor begins work on the project.
Once a milestone has been completed, the contractor will request payment.
The homeowner approves the completed work and releases payment to the contractor.

Our Fees
Renovation Trust charges a nominal fee to both homeowners and contractors in order to protect your money. Our fees are based on a regressive incremental fee structure. This means the fees are based on the amount of money a homeowner funds towards their project. The larger the amount deposited by the homeowner on a project, the lower the fee percentage becomes. Our standard fee breakdown is a 50/50 split between the homeowner and the contractor. As the contractor, you have the option to pay all of the fees, making Renovation Trust free for your customer, or none of the fees. The table below shows our fee rates.
